India Arrests Eight Pakistani Spies Amid Rising Tensions

Indian authorities have arrested eight people across three states for allegedly spying for Pakistan, following heightened surveillance on espionage activities after the Pahalgam terror attack. Among the arrested are a travel vlogger, a student, a businessman, and a security guard, all accused of sharing sensitive military information with Pakistani intelligence operatives. The arrests were made in Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat, and the suspects are under further investigation.

These arrests come amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, with India accusing Pakistan of harboring terror groups linked to the Pahalgam massacre. In retaliation, India launched Operation Sindoor, striking terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. A ceasefire was established on May 10, but the arrests highlight ongoing concerns over espionage activities between the two nations.
