Investigations Uncover Shocking Details in Group-1 Exam Paper Evaluation Scam
In a widening investigation into the Group-1 exam paper evaluation scam during the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government’s tenure, shocking revelations have emerged. A welder from Guntur district, identified as part of the illegal process, was used for various tasks related to the evaluation of exam papers in the “Highland” facility. His responsibilities included moving papers in and out of the strongroom and transferring them in gunny sacks. According to regulations, only professors from government universities should have been involved in the evaluation, with each paper being signed by the evaluating professor. However, authorities discovered signatures from a welder, a private teacher, and even a pregnant housewife instead. The police are now investigating these irregularities, with special teams working under the supervision of Officer A.B.G. Tilak. The scam unfolded after the December 2020 Group-1 mains exam, where digital evaluation was initially done, but the results were contested in court, leading to a manual evaluation order. The involvement of several individuals in the illegal transfer of exam papers to the Highland facility has prompted authorities to prepare for arrests. Among those being investigated is Satish, a private school teacher from Nandigama, who allegedly brought others to the facility in exchange for payment. Police are intensifying their efforts to uncover the full extent of the scandal.
