Airports Cut Ties with Çelebi Amid Boycott Turkey Call

Delhi, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad airports have terminated contracts with Çelebi Airport Services India Ltd after the Indian government revoked its security clearance, citing national security concerns. The action follows Turkey’s open support for Pakistan during recent India-Pakistan tensions, sparking calls in India to boycott Turkish firms.

Çelebi has been asked to immediately hand over all ground handling operations to ensure uninterrupted services. Affected staff will be transferred to new agencies under existing terms. Çelebi, meanwhile, denied political links, stating it is not a Turkish entity and is owned by international investors.
