A criminal case has been filed against a social media user for posting offensive and morphed content targeting Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The complaint, lodged by Kailash Sajjan, state secretary of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee’s (TPCC) social media department, alleges that the user, with the handle “DigtvTelugu” on X (formerly Twitter), shared an edited image of the CM in an objectionable manner. The content was described as vulgar and defamatory, intended to incite hatred. The Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police have registered a case and are in the process of contacting X to trace the user responsible.
