Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu proposed the creation of three sub-groups of state governments to accelerate India’s progress towards the Viksit Bharat vision by 2047 during the 10th Niti Aayog Governing Council Meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Naidu highlighted India’s impressive economic growth, from the 10th to the 4th largest economy, and praised transformative initiatives like Digital India, GST, and Startup India.

The proposed sub-groups include one focused on boosting GDP growth through investments and job creation, another on managing India’s demographic challenges, and a third on technology-driven governance using AI, drones, and digital platforms. Naidu emphasized Andhra Pradesh’s commitment to the national vision, introducing the state’s “Swarna Andhra @2047” plan, which integrates technology, welfare, and empowerment to promote inclusive growth. Prime Minister Modi lauded the state’s vision and encouraged other states to draw inspiration from it.
