CM Chandrababu Pays Tribute to Sir Arthur Cotton on His Birth Anniversary

Andhra Pradesh CM N. Chandrababu Naidu paid rich tributes to British irrigation engineer Sir Arthur Cotton on his birth anniversary. Acknowledging Cotton’s immense contribution to agricultural development through canal and irrigation projects, Chandrababu said his work remains unforgettable.

Minister Nimmala Rama Naidu also praised Cotton’s efforts in developing irrigation systems in the Godavari districts. He added that the previous government had neglected irrigation, but CM Chandrababu is now prioritizing all water projects, allocating ₹344 crore for canal and drainage maintenance.
