Etela Slams CM Revanth Over ‘Bankrupt Telangana’ Remarks
BJP MP and former minister Etela Rajender strongly criticized Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for his recent comments suggesting the state is facing bankruptcy. Etela fired back, saying it is not Telangana but the Congress party that is bankrupt. He accused Revanth of forgetting his role as CM and speaking irresponsibly.
Etela questioned how a state generating nearly ₹20,000 crore in monthly revenue could be called bankrupt. He asserted that Telangana has never been a poor state and remains one of the richest in the country. He also accused Congress leaders of looting the state, knowing they won’t return to power, and demanded Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi respond to Revanth’s remarks. His criticism comes as government employees prepare to protest over unresolved issues.
