Kavitha Urges Rescheduling of Miss World Pageant Amid Global Tensions

BRS MLC K Kavitha has appealed to the Telangana government to consider rescheduling the upcoming Miss World Pageant, citing global tensions and ongoing conflict-like situations. Emphasizing the importance of maintaining a responsible international image, Kavitha said, “We would come across as a non-serious nation if the event continues as planned.”

While acknowledging the pageant’s significance for Telangana’s visibility and economy, she clarified that the demand is not for cancellation but for a deferment, similar to the rescheduling of the IPL in previous years due to sensitive circumstances.
