Telugu Desam Party (TDP) general secretary and minister Nara Lokesh held a meeting with conveners and co-conveners of Mahanadu committees at the party’s national office in Mangalagiri on Wednesday, ahead of the Politburo session. The meeting focused on reviewing preparations for the upcoming Mahanadu to be held in Kadapa.
Lokesh emphasised that the event should reflect the party’s tradition of celebration, as established by TDP founder N.T. Rama Rao. He noted that Mahanadu has been held consistently, whether the party was in power or not.
“Following our historic electoral victory and unprecedented majority, we are committed to ensuring a smooth and successful Mahanadu,” Lokesh said, directing committee members to ensure meticulous planning for a hassle-free event.
