Nationwide Celebrations After India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ Strikes
The Indian Armed Forces’ Operation Sindoor targeting nine terrorist camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) sparked widespread celebrations across the country. In Srinagar, locals expressed their joy with fireworks and dances, while in Prayagraj, people gathered to shout “Bharat Mata ki Jai” as the news of the successful strikes spread. Many also displayed banners with messages of solidarity for the Armed Forces, praising their swift response to the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives.
Public celebrations reflected the nation’s overwhelming support for the operation, with citizens expressing pride in India’s strong stance against terrorism. The strikes, carried out under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, were seen as a reaffirmation of India’s commitment to protecting its citizens and confronting cross-border terrorism.
