Meanwhile, tensions remain high along the Line of Control (LoC) as Pakistan continues unprovoked firing across multiple sectors for the sixth consecutive night. In response to the deteriorating security situation, the Jammu and Kashmir government has shut down 49 tourist spots and is increasing security checks across the Valley. The Army is expected to re-deploy forces to key areas based on a recent security audit of 87 locations.
