Statue of Former CM K. Rosaiah to Be Installed at Lakdikapul

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will install a statue of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K. Rosaiah at Lakdikapul to honour his contributions to the state. Rosaiah, who also served as the Governor of Tamil Nadu, is remembered for presenting the state Budget a record 16 times, including seven consecutive years as Finance Minister under multiple chief ministers.

The nine-foot-tall statue will weigh 450 kg and be composed of 82% copper, 10% zinc, 5% tin, and 3% lead, according to an official statement. The installation is a tribute to Rosaiah’s long-standing service and legacy in public administration.
