Suspension Looms Over Kavitha; Santosh Rao to Be BRS Working President?

In a dramatic political development, Congress leader Sama Rammohan Reddy claimed that BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha is likely to be suspended from the party soon. He alleged that Joginapally Santosh Rao, not K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), will be appointed as the new working president of the BRS. Reddy further stated that Kavitha may float her own political party following the suspension, and accused Santosh Rao of blocking her access to BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR).

Sama Reddy also alleged that KCR’s inner circle, including Santosh Rao, KTR, and Harish Rao, are manipulating key decisions and undermining party unity. He criticized KCR for becoming a “helpless spectator” as internal rifts deepen, comparing his current situation to that of late Tamil Nadu leader Jayalalithaa. Reddy claimed that money is being extracted from MLAs seeking to meet KCR, and that KTR is unwilling to mediate with Kavitha to resolve ongoing tensions.
