Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has vowed to promote welfare schemes and social justice, drawing inspiration from 12th-century philosopher and reformer Basaveshwara. Speaking after inaugurating Basaveshwara’s statue near Zaheerabad in Sangareddy district, Reddy praised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for emphasizing social justice and the need for a caste census during his Bharat Jodo Yatra. He said Basaveshwara’s teachings inspire the Telangana government’s efforts toward social welfare. The CM also inaugurated a new Kendriya Vidyalaya school in Machnoor during his visit to Sangareddy.
