Telangana Expands Slot Booking System to 25 More Sub-Registrar Offices

As part of its digital reforms, the Telangana government has extended the property registration slot booking system to 25 more Sub-Registrar Offices from May 12. The system, already piloted in 22 offices since April 10, allows citizens to book appointments and avoid long queues.

Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said the initiative aims to make registrations faster, efficient, and citizen-friendly. The government plans to roll out the system across all 144 offices by June-end. Additional staff and jurisdictional changes have been introduced in high-traffic areas to handle increased workloads.
