Trump Urges India and Pakistan to End ‘Tit-for-Tat’, Offers to Help
Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan following India’s missile strikes in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Punjab, former US President Donald Trump has called for restraint, urging both nations to “stop” the back-and-forth actions. Speaking from the Oval Office, Trump said he maintains good relations with both countries and is willing to help if needed.
Describing the situation as “terrible,” Trump noted, “They’ve been fighting for many, many decades… hopefully they can stop now.” His comments came hours after the Indian military launched Operation Sindoor in response to a terror attack in Pahalgam. The US military has said it is monitoring the situation closely.
