Virat Kohli Retires from Tests, No BCCI Pension Yet

Star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has officially retired from Test cricket after a 14-year career, playing 123 matches and scoring 9,230 runs with 30 centuries. While fans are emotional over his farewell, discussions have begun about his BCCI pension. As per BCCI rules, players with over 25 Tests are eligible for ₹70,000 per month. However, since Kohli continues to play ODIs and remains in the central contract, he won’t receive a pension yet. He’ll be eligible only after retiring from all formats and exiting BCCI’s contract system.
